I’m always fascinated by what people listen to when they work. What the secret world of their own productivity looks like inside those headphones at the coffeeshop. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Stereolab, and finding them easy to ignore while enjoying having them on. They allow me to concentrate without being intrusive - I’m pretty sure that’s not a compliment, but I like them that way just the same. Find it just as easy to listen to them in the car as well. I found their ‘ABC Music’ BBC sessions compilation a couple of weeks ago, which is fantastic.
