The Corcoran Group: Mobile Apps

During my time at The Corcoran Group, I built a series of mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android across numerous Corcoran properties. Often a first for the brokerage community, our mobile apps became tightly integrated with Corcoran’s popular social media presence, and were successful in driving a significant number of qualified leads via email and phone calls directly to agents. We surfaced contextually relevant videos and neighborhood tips from our agents, as well as an innovative content partnership with Curbed, Racked and Eater for localized news based on which apartment you were looking at. While the iPhone apps were search and location-centric, our iPad app was more recreational in nature, serving up one spectacular Corcoran property, every day at 10am. We later built a large Tumblr product around the ‘10am Special’ and began to syndicate that one daily property to numerous social sites as an added benefit to sellers listing with Corcoran.

Also included here are a series of traffic and download-driving initiatives we created with Zillow, The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Curbed.
