Self-Isolation: Week Seventeen
A pretty productive week, with lots of progress on my ongoing creative projects. The main thing that arrived was my printed book, which I’m really happy with, documenting all the work so far during the pandemic. It’s been a really interesting exercise to learn how to put those kinds of things together, and the folks at Lulu did a great job with the printing. I’ll be sending a few of those off to friends around the world this week. I definitely have the appetite to make more of these (but hopefully not too many more).
I played through Marvel’s Spider-Man, pretty much in its entirety and really enjoyed it, just need to finish off the DLC stuff, and then I’m going to move on to both Injustice titles. The physics around the web slinging through Manhattan was really well executed, and I hope they get to make a sequel. We also went to see the original Ghostbusters at the drive-in one evening, which was fantastic - I really love how drive-ins are making a comeback during the pandemic, and it was a wonderful experience to sit out and watch such a great movie.
I’ve been getting back into Westworld, and picking up Season 2, and on the music front I’ve been listening a lot to the Death Stranding soundtrack, Bleach, Cocteau Twins and finally got a copy of the Bad Lieutenant / New Order side project album (spoiler, it was terrible).
