Self-Isolation: Week Twenty Eight
A pretty industrious week, with a couple of larger projects closing out, especially my passing completion of the Ancient Philosophy: Plato & His Predecessors course from The University Of Pennsylvania, which was hard, but I really enjoyed. Also, a couple of books came back from the printer this week - a 600+ page anthology of all my collected writings and speaker transcripts from the 13 years I was in the real estate industry, and a collection of all the work I did at Kingston University, including all my written theses. It’s so much fun to collect these into beautiful sets of physical work.
Outside of these, I’m still studying hard by reading a tremendous amount of Ancient Greek literature (I finished Homer’s Odyssey, Hesiod’s Theogony, and Sophocles’ Three Theban Plays this week), and I’m most definitely on a journey that may lead me back to school in a more formalized way in the near future as I toy with the idea of enrolling at UPenn to read Classics.
Also managed to spend a few productive nights doing some design work, which I’ve not done for a few weeks, squeezed in a couple of new Munnies, took the new iPhone for a nighttime spin at some local gas stations, and excavated a bunch more things from the hidden depths of the studio. I’m also closing in on being able to share a large-scale project I’ve been working on since late June, which I’m hopeful I can do later in October, which is exciting.
And the Browns won for the second week in a row. It was a good week.
