This is the weirdest thing. I remember reading the second issue (the one with the ‘spooky spider’) in the car on the way to pick up my father from the docks in Southampton when he came back from The Falklands. I have really clear memories of being in my uncle’s green Datsun and sticking the spider to the inside of the window, and reading in the back. But when I look at the publication date of that issue, it’s in 1984, and the Falklands conflict was in 1982, which means my recollection is completely wrong. How could such a clear memory be associated with the wrong date by 2 years?
